Born in a manger, destitute and frail

God of the universe, born of a woman

The Way of Salvation to all;

In the splendor of Creation

And the beauty of life

The brutality of the Cross

Nailed, mocked, flogged

The Blood of our Passover;

The Redemption of Christ

The Physician, healer and restorer

Redeemer of the universe;

Victor over sin, death and all frailty

The Love of Christ

Bringer of equality, harmony and peace

The King of the universe;

The family of the image of God
